Dan Rust

Dan Rust has been a mosaic artist for over 15 years, working on all kinds of commissions and enjoying teaching mosaics to guests at Tara Casa, an art centre in Murcia, Spain.

Dan has always had an interest in art since he was young and perused art through college and in his spare time. After moving to Spain as a life change Dan really wanted to try and make a living through something more artistic. A friend suggested mosaics rather than trying to sell paintings and that’s where it began. Through trial and error and learning on the job, Dan completed different mosaics from garden pots to swimming pools over the next 4 years…….

After meeting his partner, Vivienne, they started Tara Casa, to run retreats teaching guests yoga, pilates and mosaics and carried on working on commissions and sending mosaics around the world by courier. This is now 14 years later and still going strong……..
